Rapture in Bali: A Night in Nusa Dua

Making our way up to the bay that would get us to Gili Trawangan Island, we stopped for the night in Nusa Dua at the Grand Mirage. The hotel entrance was spectacular and the rooms decked out with bathtubs and the comfiest beds of the trip. Being a resort, it had all of the mod cons you may want when travelling.

We spent most of the day checking out the pool (complete with a swim-up bar), exploring the local shops and walking along the beach. The Double Layer Gingham dress served me well for the day, being dressy enough for the restaurant and comfortable enough to treck through the streets.

After a quick afternoon nap, we decided a day in Bali wouldn't be complete without a few cocktails, so in the afternoon we watched the sunset over the water at the hotel's Italian-themed beachside restaurant. I slipped into the Parting Ways Dress for the occasion. Sunset drinks in Bali never disappoints.

We knew we needed to rest up before the following day's three-hour trip to Gili T Island, so lights were out early. Thank you, Nusa Dua, for a relaxing little stopover.
