Rapture in Bali: The Uluwatu Edit

We recently went to Bali with our suitcases overflowing with styles from Rapture Boutique. In typical Bali style, it was 24/7 drinks, sun, sand, swims and relaxation! We rocked dresses and swimwear morning, noon and night to suit the beachy island vibes.

Our destinations included Uluwatu, Nusa Dua, Gili Trawangan Island and Seminyak. The favourite spot was definitely Uluwatu, with its gorgeous towering cliffs overlooking the ocean. A sunrise or sunset from this location is simply breathtaking.

Arriving in Uluwatu, we ditched the bags at our cute digs at Uluwatu Cottages and headed straight to the nearest beach club. Ulu Cliffhouse was the first and best club we hit throughout the trip - highly recommended! Think day beds, unobstructed ocean views, delicious food, winding paths down to the beach and cocktails galore. The Palm Wrap Dress suited the occasion perfectly, easily slipped on and off between dips in the infinity pool.

The next morning, we were up before the sun to go for a run and catch the magnificent sunrise from atop our own private cliff. This called for activewear, so we went with the tropical Laya Mesh Leggings matched with white sneakers (be quick - only one pair left on site).

To cool off, we jumped into our second infinity pool of the trip at our accommodation in the soft morning light, giving the Femme Mesh Swimsuit a spin for the first time. It quickly became my go-to one-piece for the trip because of its classic colour, flattering cut and comfortable fit.

Swimming and lazing about is thirsty work, so we hit the breakfast buffet to kick-start our day. Breakfasts in Bali are always fresh and laden with tropical fruits. The My Girl Dress was an easy choice post swim - soft and breezy in blue with a low neckline, open back and fun pom-pom trim.

Before moving to our next location, we stopped at the Uluwatu Temple to explore and see the cheeky monkeys (and their scarily big teeth!). The humidity had us keen for our next swim, though Bali never disappoints in this department. Cue our next stop in Nusa Dua.

Our trip started off with a bang at our first destination. We hit a beach club, explored a temple, met some beautiful people and saw both sunrise and sunset. We could've easily spent our whole trip here. Last thoughts? Uluwatu, we love you! We'll be back soon.
